All Counter-Terrorists start with this weapon, and it is most effective at finishing off your targets if you have that window of opportunity. Also, it comes with an optional silencer. When the silencer is on, stealth will become important to you. The silencer decreases your accuracy so it is better not to use it, but if you need to get the jump on your target, then use it!

This enables the user to shoot many more rounds while your oponent does not. It is only a 9mm round and does not cause much serious damage, but when aimed at the head it can be a real killer. Use this weapon wisely.

Although not perfectly accurate, the sheer power in which it dispenses its .50mm rounds is enough to finish off a fully armored person within 4 shots. It is an excellent side arm for the first round and can stand up to many assault rifles if you need to use it. Unfortunately, lag time can become a factor when using the deagle. This handgun is not recommended when there is much lag on the server because, generally speaking, the deagle tends to have a slow reaction time after pulling the trigger normally. When lag is added to this speed, it is even harder to aim properly and fire enough bullets in time.

Projectile Weight : 8.1 grams Muzzle Velocity : 1400 feet/second Muzzle Energy : 600 joules	The p228 is one of the best side arms to have with you. Its strength is second only to the deagle, and its accuracy is pin point. When used properly, it has been known to take down people with M4a1's, which proves its deadliness. It gets its power from the .357 sig punch it packs, it is cabable of riping armour to strands of wool.

Projectile Weight : 8 grams Muzzle Velocity : 1280 feet/second Muzzle Energy : 606 joules	This is a terrorist only weapon. and it is one expensive pistol, I would personally rather have an mp5 and spend a bit more or get a usp tactical. Because they are two guns it has assumably twice the power, but again like the glock it is only a 9mm round, it is very innacurate. This means that close range combat is the future of this pistol (if any at all) It has a fairly high rate of fire and can inflict damage if aimed at the head. If you want to use this gun, go ahead but I would not recomend it.

Projectile Weight : 2 grams Muzzle Velocity : 2345 feet/second Muzzle Energy : 465 joules	The Five Seven is a CounterTerrorist-only weapon, and it can hold its own very well. Its large calibre size makes it a deadly weapon, yet its accuracy is poor. it is effective most at close range. Technically, it has the same Muzzle Energy Remember: It isn't what gun you use, but it is how you use it.

The spray of its buckshot round makes it useful at medium range, but is completely innacurate at long range. At close range, it can kill with one blast if the whole round hits you target.
Benelli XM1014	Price : $3000 Country of Origin : Italy Calibre : 12 gauge Clip Capacity : 7 rounds Rate of Fire(CS) : 400 rpm Weight(EMPTY) : 4 kg. Projectile Weight : 3.8 grams/pellet Muzzle Velocity : 1250 feet/second Muzzle Energy : 2429 joules	The AutoShotgun is the best close-range weapon in the game. Although you may have to reload often, the amount of rounds you can pump into your enemy in just a few seconds is amazing. Many refer to it as the 'newbie cannon' because it is an all-too effective weapon when in a close confrontation fight. But the trick to this weapon is knowing when to reload. You can't just reload in front of your opponent, nor can you hide and reload, because chances are he'll get the jump on you (camping doesn't work if the person knows you're there!). The effective way is to shoot a few shells off, then reload, then shoot a few more, reload, etc. The one advantage is that you can interupt the reload if necessary to fire of a couple of shots.

It also is a very common weapon in the second round of a map because of its low price. It is also preffered by some against assault rifles i.e. the colt.

Projectile Weight : 8 grams Muzzle Velocity : 1280 feet/second Muzzle Energy : 606 joules	This sub-machine gun fires its 30 round clip in the blink of an eye, it helps those that can really aim well and go for the head. Even if u cant, this weapon rips its targets to shreds. It also is handy to keep a good back up pistol. TIP: If you are running short on ammo drop ur pistol and swap it for a glock, this provides more ammo

Projectile Weight : 2 grams Muzzle Velocity : 2345 feet/second Muzzle Energy : 465 joules	The P90 is an effective close range (and sometimes even medium range) weapon, mostly because it is firing magnum bullets in a semi-automatic fashion. However, it has poor aim when firing at far away targets, the muzzle energy can be topped by a handgun. The best method is to continuously pump your opponent with bullets when at close range. When your opponent is at medium range and is approaching you, it is wiser to wait until he is close and jump him, rather than run out firing. It is a fairly common gun mostly because of its 50 bullet magazine. This makes it more of a rip you up gun than an accurate one.

It has a high rate of fire for an smg and also has supreme firepower at close range. It is recomended to go into a fire fight with this gun and a good sidearm, like the desert eagle of five seven to provide good backup.

It may fire slowly and have a smaller clip than most SMGs, but it is accurate at close and medium ranges. It also reloads relatively fast. Generally, its a good weapon.

It would definately help if you had a greande and a desert eagle to help. It is also a hugely expensive weapon, you are better of with a sub-machine gun or a rifle such as the M4A1 colt carbine or AK47
AK47	Price : $2500 Country of Origin : Russia Calibre : 7.62mm NATO Clip Capacity : 30 rounds Rate of Fire : 600 rpm Weight(LOADED) : 4.79 kg. Projectile Weight : 7.9 grams Muzzle Velocity : 2329 feet/second Muzzle Energy : 1992 joules	This is one of the best rifles on the game. It has supreme firepower and when in the right hands Unbelievable accuracy.

Projectile Weight : 4 grams Muzzle Velocity : 2900 feet/second Muzzle Energy : 1570 joules	The Sig552 is one of the best weapons in CS, mostly because of its effectiveness at close, medium, and sometimes even long ranges. It is the terrorist version of the Steyr Aug, and is equal to it in almost every way. The problem with both the Steyr Aug and Sig552 is that when a target is at close-medium range, activating the scope will make hit hard to stay accurate.

Projectile Weight : 7.9 grams Muzzle Velocity : 2329 feet/second Muzzle Energy : 1992 joules	The Colt is probably the best Counter Terrorist weapon in their arsenal. What makes it so special is you can attach a silencer to it, which can prove to be an advantage or disadvantage over your enemy. If your enemy is not aware you are near him, it is effective at getting the drop upon him/her. However, if you are to confront your enemy, it may be wise to remove it. This is because you get better accuracy without the silencer, and a higher rate of fire. With the silencer, you can empty a clip in 5 seconds. Without it, you can empty one in 4 seconds. This can make a big difference
Steyr Aug	Price : $3500 Country of Origin : Austria Calibre : 5.56mm NATO Clip Capacity : 30 rounds Rate of Fire(CS) : 727 rpm Weight(LOADED) : 4.09 kg. Projectile Weight : 4 grams Muzzle Velocity : 2900 feet/second Muzzle Energy : 1570 joules	The Steyr Aug is one of the best weapons in CounterStrike. And undoubtedly my favourite gun. Equipped with a weak scope, it can be used for long range sniping, but is more efficient at close and medium ranges. An effective method for long range sniping with the Aug is to fire only one bullet or a short burst at a time, so as to maintain accuracy, rather than empty an entire clip around your target.
Steyr Scout	Price : $2750 Country of Origin : Austria Calibre : 7.62mm NATO Clip Capacity : 10 rounds Rate of Fire : N/A Weight(EMPTY) : 3.3 kg. Projectile Weight : 8 grams Muzzle Velocity : 2800 feet/second Muzzle Energy : 2200 joules	The Steyr Scout is your basic sniper rifle. It is not nearly as powerful as the AWP, but is many times more silent, making it better to snipe without giving away your location. It also reloads slightly faster than the AWP, which can be an advantage.
Arctic Warefare Magnum (AWP)	Price : $4750 Country of Origin : United Kingdom Calibre : .338 Lapua Magnum Clip Capacity(CS) : 10 rounds Rate of Fire : N/A Weight(EMPTY) : 6 kg. Projectile Weight : 16.2 grams Muzzle Velocity : 3000 feet/second Muzzle Energy : 7000 joules	The AWM is the most powerful weapon in the game, with a potential one-hit-kill when shot in the chest or head area. Limb shots are incredibly close to fatal. The AWM fires the bullet at an impressive 7000 joules! Also, when standing still, it is virtually 100% accurate. However, it is much more difficult to successfully hit someone while running or strafing. The only problem is that you must reload between each shot, and it makes a very loud sound, giving up any chance of hiding you may have had. It is also a poor weapon to use in a confrontation, thus you might also be dubbed a camper if you want to actually kill anyone. The AWM is considered a "cheap" weapon because of its amazing power. But if it were so "cheap", it would have been removed from the arsenal a long time ago.
G3 - PSG1	Price : $5000 Country of Origin : Germany Calibre : 7.62mm NATO Clip Capacity(CS) : 20 rounds Rate of Fire : N/A Weight(EMPTY) : 4.41 kg Projectile Weight : 8 grams Muzzle Velocity : 2800 feet/second Muzzle Energy : 2200 joules	The G3 is the Terroist's equivalent to the Counter-Terrorist's Sig 550, except with a few differences. For starters, the bullets travel slower once fired, and fires weaker than the Sig 550. However, it makes up for this with a larger calibur size. Basically, it has the same advantages and disadvantages that the Sig 550 has.
SG550	Price : $4200 Country of Origin : Switzerland Calibre : 5.56mm NATO Clip Capacity : 30 rounds Rate of Fire(CS) : N/A Weight(EMPTY) : 7.02 kg. Projectile Weight : 4 grams Muzzle Velocity : 3100 feet/second Muzzle Energy : 1650 joules	Equipped on the Sig 550 is powerful scope with two zoom levels. This weapon can be effective, even if the aim is not excellent. Though not as powerful as other sniper rifles, it doubles as an effective close range combat weapon because it can fire in a semi-automatic fashion in or out of the scope.
